After 35 years in the business — the last 14 with SRO — John Schimmelman has decided to retire in order to focus on some ongoing health issues. We know you will miss him as much as we already do.
We welcome our new Regional Agent Bill Marquardt, an energetic rep with experience at some of Nashville’s top firms including Ovation Entertainment and New Frontier Touring. He’s attending the 2019 Arts Midwest Conference (Minneapolis), ArtsMarket 2019 (Durham), AmericanaFest (Nashville), as well as APAPNYC 2020.
We are saddened to report the passing of South African legendary singer/composer and author, Johnny Clegg, due to complications from pancreatic cancer. Johnny’s impact on the international stage cannot be understated. SRO was proud to represent Johnny for the last five years. He will be greatly missed. ~ AnneMarie Martins, SRO Artists
We lost a national treasure today, Dan Hicks left us much too early. A legend and a true original who we had the great privilege of representing these past seven years.
