SRO Artists Inc. is a full service booking agency, exclusively representing artists and attractions from the US and abroad. Since 1980, SRO has served promoters, performing arts centers, clubs, festivals, casino, university and corporate buyers.

Led by company president Jeff Laramie, SRO’s staff of seven specialize in artist and presenter services and serve the national arts community by participating in numerous educational and community organizations. Based in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin, SRO is proud to continue its reputation for an outstanding roster of eclectic and diverse entertainment.

Jeff Laramie

President/Artist Representative

Celebrating 40 years heading up SRO Artists, Jeff Laramie has remained an active leader in the national artist touring and concert industry. A graduate of Luther College in music, Jeff served two terms on the North American Performing Arts Managers and Agents (NAPAMA) board, chaired its’ Professional Development Committee in 2016-17, and developed curriculum for the NAPAMA Agent’s Retreat. Jeff was Co-Chair of the 2013 Arts Midwest Conference, and served on the  Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP) Conference Committee, Western Arts Alliance (WAA) Communications Committee, Inside Arts Advisory Committee, as well as APAP’s Arts Partners Review Panel. He’s led numerous conference educational panels, and has toured and recorded with his own band for many years. Jeff still enjoys performing, snow skiing, water skiing, sailing, and river kayaking. AnneMarie Martins

Vice President/Artist Representative

Industry veteran AnneMarie Martins joined SRO in 2012 to represent their combined roster throughout the Western US and Canada. With more than 25 years of experience, Martins was founder and co-owner of International Music Network (IMN) and helped to develop it into one of the leading world music and jazz agencies. She was also the western states representative for Monterey International from 2009-2012. She has served on the board of NAPAMA and holds a BFA from Boston University in Theatre. Beginning her career in the music industry at the Greek Theatre as a stage manager, she moved into artist management and booking when she created IMN. AnneMarie is a recognized leader in the industry, and a wonderful mom. She resides in California and enjoys gardening, hiking, and cooking. Contact Annemarie

Bill Marquardt

Artist Representative

Bill Marquardt joined SRO in June 2019. He and his wife moved back to their home state Wisconsin after a four year stint in Nashville, TN where Bill worked as an Agents Assistant for New Frontier Touring, and an Agent for Ovation Artists Group. He is a graduate of Madison Media Institute with a Bachelor of Science degree in Entertainment Media Business, and an Associates degree in Audio Engineering. A lifelong music fan, he is also a singer and a guitarist, performing in and fronting several rock bands from 2009 to 2015 including Milwaukee based pop punk band, Be The Young. Besides writing music, Bill is a huge fan of fantasy books, and a dedicated fan of all things Wisconsin sports. Contact Bill

Shawn Werner

Artist Representative

Shawn Werner joined SRO in June of 2017. He brings a diverse set of experiences working in the entertainment/arts administration industry, including programming, coordinating patron services experiences at New York’s Lincoln Center, working in print royalties, supplying piano accompaniment for Madison Ballet, managing development initiatives, and currently serving as the Music Director for his church. Originally born and raised in Colorado, Shawn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in music with a piano performance emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In his free time, Shawn enjoys discovering new music of all kinds, reading, biking, camping, hiking, backpacking, kayaking and canoeing, traveling, ruthlessly cheering on the Badgers, and he may have an (unhealthy) addiction to playing and watching hockey. Jef Pertzborn “Pertz”

Hard to believe, but “Pertz” began his career with SRO in 1993! He specializes in marketing support, graphic design, contact management, and Web development. Pertz acquired a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the Univ. of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, where he served four years on the student activities executive board, earning recognition as “Most Valuable Programmer” and “Outstanding Board Member.” He is co-founder of the Sugar Maple Traditional Music Festival which has become one of the area’s premiere summer events since its’ inception in 2004. When the computer’s off, Pertz loves the outdoors (especially anywhere mountainous and snowy), playing Mr. Mom, home-haunting, and banging-on-the-drums-all-day.

Joe Bernstein joined SRO in September 2019, following over 11 years as the Director of Operations and Education at Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras. In addition to his background in arts administration, he has spent time on the road, touring with his bands The Kissers, El Valiente, and Howler. Joe also frequently performs with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. He teaches courses in rock and jazz music history and music theory at Madison College. He earned his Master of Music degree in percussion performance from the University of Wisconsin. Outside of work, he and his wife have two sons and two terriers. In his free time, he umpires baseball, cooks Italian food, smokes meat, and collects vinyl and whisky.

Joining SRO in 2001, Ann holds an Associate degree in Accounting from Madison Area Technical College as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Masters in Business Administration from Upper Iowa University. She has over 30 years of business and accounting experience in a variety of industries including insurance, financial services, non-profits, hotel management and graphic design. In her free time, Ann enjoys camping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
