SRO Artists Inc. is a full service booking agency, exclusively representing artists and attractions from the US and abroad. Since 1980, SRO has served promoters, performing arts centers, clubs, festivals, casino, university and corporate buyers.
Led by company president Jeff Laramie, SRO’s staff of seven specialize in artist and presenter services and serve the national arts community by participating in numerous educational and community organizations. President/Artist Representative
President of SRO Artists since 1980, Jeff Laramie is a leader in the national artist touring, recording and concert industry for over 40 years. A graduate of Luther College in music, he is currently serving a second term on the NAPAMA board and chairs the Professional Development Committee. Jeff was Co-Chair of the 2013 Arts Midwest Conference, has served on the WAA Communications Committee, the Inside Arts Advisory Committee, the APAP Arts Partners Review Panel and made six recordings and toured with his own band for many years. Jeff still enjoys performing, snow skiing, water skiing, sailing and river kayaking. Contact Jeff

Industry veteran AnneMarie Martins joined SRO in 2012 to represent their combined roster throughout the Western US and Canada. With more than 25 years of experience, Martins was founder and co-owner of International Music Network (IMN) and helped to develop it into one of the leading world music and jazz agencies. She was also the western states representative for Monterey International from 2009-2012. She has served on the board of NAPAMA and holds a BFA from Boston University in Theatre. Beginning her career in the music industry at the Greek Theatre as a stage manager, she moved into artist management and booking when she created IMN. AnneMarie is a recognized leader in the industry, and a wonderful mom. She resides in California and enjoys gardening, hiking, and cooking. Contact Annemarie

For almost 20 years John Schimmelman worked for Columbia Artists Management in New York City and served as Senior Vice President & Director of Operations for Community Concerts, Inc., managing artist selection and daily operations for the largest network of concert presenters in the United States. Prior to joining SRO in 2006, John oversaw the creation of two highly successful touring productions, “Three Mo’ Tenors” and “Bowfire,” and served as General Manager for each. Both shows have been broadcast nationwide on PBS as Pledge Drive Specials. John enjoys the hilly and challenging bicycle ride he often makes to work… weather permitting. As lovers of the great outdoors he and his wife Lucie are avid hikers, campers and kayakers. Contact John

Shawn Werner joined SRO in June of 2017. He brings a diverse set of experiences working in the entertainment/arts administration industry, including programming, coordinating patron services experiences at New York’s Lincoln Center, working in print royalties, supplying piano accompaniment for Madison Ballet, managing development initiatives, and currently serving as the Music Director for his church. Originally born and raised in Colorado, Shawn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in music with a piano performance emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In his free time, Shawn enjoys discovering new music of all kinds, reading, biking, camping, hiking, backpacking, kayaking and canoeing, traveling, ruthlessly cheering on the Badgers, and he may have an (unhealthy) addiction to playing and watching hockey. Toni has been working for SRO since 1999. She has more than 25 years experience in the entertainment industry, including booking clubs and festival stages, booking tours for several local and regional groups, operating a backstage hospitality catering business for large venues and working as editor of a local monthly music newspaper. In her free time Toni enjoys antiquing, needlework, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her two daughters and two granddaughters.
Hard to believe, but “Pertz” began his career with SRO in 1993! He specializes in marketing support, graphic design, contact management, and Web development. Pertz acquired a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the Univ. of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, where he served four years on the student activities executive board, earning recognition as “Most Valuable Programmer” and “Outstanding Board Member.” He is co-founder of the Sugar Maple Traditional Music Festival which has become one of the area’s premiere summer events since its’ inception in 2004. When the computer’s off, Pertz loves the outdoors (especially anywhere mountainous and snowy), playing Mr. Mom, home-haunting, and banging-on-the-drums-all-day.
Joining SRO in 2001, Ann holds an Associate degree in Accounting from Madison Area Technical College as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Masters in Business Administration from Upper Iowa University. She has over 30 years of business and accounting experience in a variety of industries including insurance, financial services, non-profits, hotel management and graphic design. In her free time, Ann enjoys camping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
