What does “SRO” stand for?
Standing Room Only.
What do you do at SRO?
SRO Artists, Inc. is a full service booking agency. We exclusively represent
performing artists and attractions, and arrange their touring throughout
North America--in some cases abroad. SRO handles all aspects of performance
solicitation, negotiation and contracting engagements, as well as post-booking
services (i.e. supplying press, photos, posters, flyers, etc.) to make
every performance a success.
How do I become an SRO Artist?
We receive many solicitations from artists interested in joining our roster.
Please click here for instructions
on submitting your materials for consideration. We only accept solicitations
by mail. Please do not call for this purpose.
Who is my SRO Artist Representative?
There are three full-time agents at SRO, Jeff Laramie, Steve Heath and
John Schimmelman. Each agent represents a geographic territory, or in
some cases, a specific client-type or artist. Please click
here to view a list of staff and territories represented, then click
on the picture to contact your artist representative.
Can I listen to a recording or watch a video of your artists?
Yes! Simply navigate to the artist page and browse the Media player in the upper right to preview video and/or video clips. Viewing these media files requires the latest Flash player.
How do I find out if an artist is performing in my area?
All of our artist itineraries are posted weekly on-line at Pollstar.com,
the industry leader for concert listings. Navigate to the artist page,
and click “Itinerary” for up-to-date schedule information
for that specific performer.
What is the difference between an artists' "Itinerary" versus an artists' "Availability"?
Itinerary is a listing of confirmed shows for a particular artist and typically current from today through 12 months out. Availability is a snapshot of booking opportunities our agents are looking to fill, typically current from three to 18 months out. All of our artist itineraries are posted weekly on-line at Pollstar.com, while Availability is updated about every other month. Both Itinerary and Availability are subject to change without notice.
Can I book a performance on-line?
Not exactly, as we will require speaking directly with you before we confirm
an engagement. However, we do provide a form to expedite receiving a serious
booking inquiry. Navigate to the artist page, and click “Make
an Offer” to begin the process. Please fill out the form completely.
Do your artists play private parties or benefit concerts?
Many of our artists will perform for a benefit, but they may only choose
one or two per year based on the beneficiary, availability and/or artist
fee. We rarely book private engagements, but encourage you to submit your
proposal. In either instance, navigate to the artist of choice and click
on “Make an Offer”,
or, use the Contact Us method
to introduce your general proposal for services.
Where do I look for promotional support if I have booked a performance?
SRO offers a full array of promotional support for every performance, ranging from program notes and bios, study guides, color posters and flyers, hi-res photos and logos, production quality audio/video, publicity and record label contacts, and much more. You can obtain most of these resources directly from the artist pages on this Web site. Simply navigate to the artist page and explore the links under the Resources heading. For open-source downloads, click-on Secure Documents and enter the required user name and password. If you need further assistance, please call us at 608-664-8160.
How do I add services to an existing contract?
You may use the Contact Us page or call us at 608-664-8160. Many of our artists offer workshops,
classroom discussions, lecture demonstrations, or other residency services.
If your show is already sold out, we are happy to add another show!
I want to attend a performance, how do I purchase tickets?
Concert tickets can be purchased directly from the venue. If you are interested
in attending a performance for a particular SRO artist, navigate to the
artist page and click “Itinerary” which will take you to that
artist schedule at Pollstar.com.
From there, follow the navigation to find the address and phone number
of the city/state/venue for your desired performance. Please call the
venue directly for ticket information.
